Historical area, walkable narrow streets, old shops and restaurants. Busy during Golden week and Sanja Matsuri Festival. Well-equipped hostel with kitchen and large common area. Helpful staff and regular guest with local cuisine knowledge. Combini's and grocery store nearby. Free breakfast!

good value for money. Casual and international environment. Air conditioned bed room. The hostel locates in a nice area.

wifi didn't work very well (quite often). Not all facilities/services were for free. Shower/toilet was not very clearn. The location was a bit complicated.

Very good location, near metro station. Not far from the city center. Excellent staff and very helpful, especially Yoshi.

Should do more strict policy for those who come late at night... once or twice not a problem but when it continuous every day so it disturbs everybody in the room. My idea is to move all night goers in one room.

If you want a peaceful and much more comfortable place (with your own room and for the same price), go to Kangaroo hotel, just a few blocks further north.

    Nothing beyond the normal backpackers.

I recently stayed at Sakura Hostel in Asakusa for 5 nights. The location was excellent, with Sensoji Temple and Nakamise market street just a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and convenient. The bunk beds were comfortable and the white sheets and towels were spotless. The breakfast included tasty options like toast, butter, jam, and a delicious daily soup. The hostel also offered activities to learn about Japanese culture, and there was a common area with a TV. Sakura Hostel in Asakusa provided great value for money.

Can't recommend this hostel highly enough.

Great price and convenient location, within walking distance to attractions and transportation. The common area provided a warm atmosphere for socializing with other travelers. Free wi-fi was a bonus.

Shared room meant noise and potential disturbances at night. Limited space for large luggage and shared air conditioning could be problematic.
